Watchlist for March 22: SPY, ZNGA, DDD, BV

SPY has failed to make a new high with a bearish MACD crossover. A pullback to MA(50) level is expected. Consider short SPY to hedge some risks.

DDD has been traded sideway for days after it drops to 200 day moving average. Thursday, it closes above MA(200) by one dollar per share. Bullish MACD is around the corner. RSI is recovering. I expect a bounce back to $34.00 but not a reversal of downtrend since MA(50) starts to be pointing downwards.

ZNGA, one of the most discussed stocks on Twitter today, along BV. MA(50) is rising quickly and we would have a Golden bullish cross by the end of next week. ZNGA is trading at very low volume. Stop just below MA(200) or MA(50) at your choice and risk tolerance.

BV, as many of your might know, it has a pretty clear breakout on a double bottom pattern, with a volume setup just like the one in Textbooks. Most volume on the first trough and big volume on breakout. Despite, it pulled back a little bit today, I remain bullish and I have a stop order at $7.20. I have a target to $9.00 in less than a month.

NASDAQ: ZNGA - So ZNGA has been beaten up badly for 2 weeks since GLUU lauched the first online real-time real-money gambling platform. ZNGA is now approaching 200 day moving average, which happens to be the 50% level on Fibonacci Retracement. 3.28 could be a nice level to go long with a stop at $3.10 where the gap is filled, risking 0.18 per share to speculate a move back to $4.00 level. Keep in mind that a big move could easily trigger a short squeeze. Also RSI has not yet crossed below 40.00, so uptrend has not been overwritten yet.

(NASDAQ: SPWR) just broke above a bullish triangle pattern with volume. I target $17.00.

American Apparel, Inc. (AMEX: APP) is forming a bullish flag on chart. You may consider today's move a breakover, since we have a huge volume detected (and it is mostly the hour before close). Trend should continue on Thursday.

First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) is trying to fill its gap. Bullish MACD crossover, increasing volume and green candlesticks. RSI crossing 50 level. Closing above $31.00 with RSI above 60 would signal a new uptrend starts.

7 More Stocks to Watch

3D Systems Corp (NYSE: DDD) I know some people did not liquidate their position when DDD turned around in January. I am sorry to hear they have winded up with such a huge loss. DDD has dropped as low as $27.88 and crossed 200 moving average today, which many refers it as the "death cross.". Despite the low RSI reading, I suggest whoever holds DDD put a stop order at $28.00 as the outlook is very bearish for DDD and there is no sign of reversal here.

Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE: GMED) seems to have found support from $14.00, signaling the uptrend is still taking place. It is a great level to entry and place a stop at $13.44.

BlackBerry NASDAQ: BBRY has broken above its short term downtrend last week with a little pullback. Support is found around 50-day moving average after two trading days of this week. Long Candidate. Stop slightly below MA(50).

InterDigital, Inc (NASDAQ: IDCC) has found support from centerline of the BBand, which is also 20 day moving average. Again, as I have mentioned many times previously, Bollinger Band since mid-2012 has been a very accurate indicator for IDCC.

Sprint (NYSE: S) broken above $6.00 level today, with a great volume. RSI has yet to reach overbought level. I think S has room to go to $6.4 before a pullback.

United States Oil Fund (NYSE: USO) has been beaten up badly today, almost covering all of its gain from Monday. Volume trend has been broken. RSI turned back down after reaching 50 level. It seems that Elliot Wave C, the largest minitrend in a downtrend, is around the corner. Get ready for seeing cheaper gas price at the gas station, folks.

NYSE: HPQ. Such a big move since 2013. Up almost 40% now. It is like no stopping. How far do you think HPQ can go? Please feel free to leave a comment below.

5 Stocks I'm Watching this week

Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) made a new high last Friday with huge volume.

Groupon, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRPN) has jumped 6.10%, despite the insignificance on chart, there is a breakabove on volume. I think GRPN might hit $6.12 again.

American Apparel, Inc. (AMEX: APP) not only found support from the breakout level but also broke above a flag pattern. APP has also been treading with increasing volume for the past several days. I would give a target of $2.8 if APP breaks above $2.08.

Sony Corp. (NYSE: SNE) has made a new high after company reporting strong financials. There are more cost-cutting and outsourcing plan ongoing with SONY, SNE could be a good investment for 2013.

GLUU (NASDAQ: GLUU) jumps from $2.4 to $3.34 after the company announces its first online real-money gambling platform. Trade with caution as any bad news can make the bubble burst. The company has not yet built strong fundamentals.

5 Stocks I am watching this week

3D System Corp (NYSE: DDD) still looks very weak after dropping from $47.99 to $30. A bear flag is under formation. Watch out for a break below. On balance volume implies DDD should be trading around $25.00.

Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) has finally broken above $3.75, approaching $4.00 with huge volume today. I think a close above $4.00 will trigger a massive short squeeze. I have been suggesting my followers to go long ZNGA since it closes above 200 day moving average. The outlook of ZNGA still looks very bullish after today's run. Speculation on the future of online gambling and possible acquisition by Yahoo.

Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) Bullish MACD Crossover might bring some appreciation on this stock. My long term outlook for Apple is still very bearish, however, I think there is some room for AAPL to bounce back to $470 level.
Despite Blackberry (NASDAQ: BBRY) jumped 14.09% today, it is still closing below a short term down trend. I will prefer waiting for more confirmation, say a close above $16.00 to go long BBRY. P.S. Bullish MACD crossover and breakout on volume.

American Capital Agency Corp (NASDAQ: AGNC) has filled the gap formed after the company announced an issuance of stocks. Bullilsh MACD Crossover and OBV is picking up. A close above $33.00 could be a very bullish sign for AGNC.

5 Stocks to Watch

Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) is definitely under consolidation with light volume. It has been closing well above 200day moving average for 4 days in a row. The outlook is very bullish. Watch for a breakout above $3.75 which will bring more action.

Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) Possible head and shoulder pattern on chart. It seems that bullish MACD crossover did not bring much appreciation. A break the neckline around $25.00 would signal a trend reversal on Facebook.

Yahoo!, Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) has been trading flat for three days after making 52w new high. Watch for more action when volume picks up.

American Apparel, Inc. (AMEX: APP) I don't usually use Fibonacci retracement on micro-cap stock like APP. but it seems to me that 50% level gives a great support to the stock.

Nokia, Corp (NYSE: NOK) Bullish MACD crossover coming. See if it can close above above $3.79, crossing centerline, MA(20) of Bollinger band.

Wednesday, March 6, 2013

American Apparel (AMEX: APP) has grown 50% since yesterday as the company announces strong growth on Q4 sales yesterday and new debt financing today. APP breaks out with a HUGE volume. I think APP has a long way to go until it stops. Notice how it went to the north steadily after today's open, which is a very good a healthy trend without much speculation and volatility implied.

Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) has slightly pulled back after closing above MA(200). The whole candlestick is still above MA(200)  and ZNGA is falling on light volume. This is a great opportunity to load more on ZNGA, folks.

SP500 Index (NYSE: SPY) has a bullish MACD crossover, however, breaks above $153.28 with light volume. Watch out guys! Consider buying VXX/UVXY to hedge during open.

I rarely look at penny stocks, but this caught my attention as it shows a steady upward move in 1-min chart. Notice how GNIN (Green Innovations Ltd) grew from $0.6 to $1.56 without a huge gap. The volume looks quite healthy to me and there is a bullish MACD crossover today. I am against taking overnight risks on a petty stock and volatile stock like this but GNIN could be a very good candidate for day trading given its steady move to the north.

Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA) has its candlestick entirely above MA(200) for the first time!!!!. It is absolutely a golden cross and I can't wait for more action on ZNGA. Positive MACD and Rising on balance volume.

To read my analysis of ZNGA since this year, you may visit

Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) Many of my regular readers know that I started shorting AAPL since $600.00 and has a target of $400 to close my position. I suspect when the price hits $400 benchmark, we would see similar action like the one we saw in Nov2012 when AAPL hit $500. Yes! A huge bounceback. Analyst and people will start to evaluate and "Oh! AAPL is way too undervalued. etc". It could be a while before the downtrend continues after hitting $400.

InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC) has made a new 52-week high today. Take a look at how IDCC behaves when it had a bullish MACD along as a breakabove. Yes! Big action. I think IDCC will be heading north very soon. Note that volume is graduating increasing for a week already.

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) broken below a triangle pattern today with a highest volume in a week. I suggest taking profits at this level before it is too late.

Now. I want to just briefly mention 2 stocks with a strong trend. Kraft Foods Group, Inc (NASDAQ: KRFT)  Increasing OBV, Positive MACD and makes a new 52week high today.

Genesis Energy LP (NYSE: GEL) Bullish MACD Crossover. 52week new high is made. The volume is very level and action is very strong.
